Community Meetings
These meetings will:
- Present the purpose and process for the ordinance update
- Summarize key findings from the existing code assessment
- Include community engagement through interactive online and in-person activities and visual preference surveys
Join the Town of Chino Valley for the community kickoff meeting for the Zoning Ordinance Update. The project team will give a presentation introducing the project and explaining how the zoning update relates to Make it Chino! 2040 General Plan, and provide an opportunity for residents, property owners, business owners, and other community members to share input early in the process.
At this meeting, participants will:
- Learn about the Zoning Ordinance Update and why it matters
- Review the purpose, process, and overall project timeline
- Hear key takeaways from the existing code assessment
- Share ideas about zoning districts, allowed uses, development standards, community character, and future growth priorities
- Learn how to stay involved through the project website, email updates, and interactive engagement tools such as the online map
